A wide-body Mitsubishi Starion turbo, but with a more eclectic paint job.

He would never be so plebian as
drive
anywhere.
He would be
driven
on a wonderously-Glam parade float/mobile concert stage with which he could share his unicorn rainbows and magical notes with the rest of us plebes lining the streets, worshiping our Glam god-King.

A Mazda Protege*
*We had a married couple legally named Ziggy and Merry Stardust that used to service their Protege by us at the old Mazda dealer.

Assuming we’re talking about Bowie: There is always the literal answer: from http://www.bowiewonderworld.com/faq.htm
A Jaguar 1.5 E Type, 1967 in British racing green.
Another vehicle David owned was a 1932 Riley 9 Gamecock which was the inspiration for one of his songs ‘Rupert The Riley’. Unfortunately for David, one night in May 1970 outside Lewisham Police Station, he was attempting to start up the open two-seater roadster ‘Rupert’ using the starting handle. He’d left the car in first gear and the crankshaft went through his leg. He cracked both knees as the bumper had him pinned to another car that was just behind it. He spent the next week in Lewisham Hospital recovering. As well as cracking both his knees, if you look carefully at some photographs, especially live Ziggy Stardust era ones, you can visibly see the long scar running up the inside of his right thigh.
Assuming we’re talking about Ziggy? He would never, ever drive. He would
fly
.

I think this question should be restated as:
What would David Bowie drive?
What would Ziggy Stardust drive?
What would the Thin White Duke drive?
